Overwhelmed by the support raised through the Global Care-A-Thon Mission
The Global Care-A-thon Mission raises thousands of dollars for children in need!
For over forty-six years, the Global Care-A-thon Mission has been actively raising funds for vulnerable children around the world. It is amazing to see what the Lord has done through this little church with a big heart! Every June, the kind folks at Heimdal Community Church volunteer their time and energy to host the walkathon and then collect sponsorships throughout the rest of the year. They have been a huge blessing to Father's House in Romania and South Africa, as well as Calcutta Mercy in India. We are so grateful for their hearts to serve and make this wonderful event happen, and for their generosity towards helping children in need. This year, Father's House received $26, 420.00 as a result of their efforts. These funds will go towards supporting children in our program and providing for their basic needs for food, clothing and education.
