Recently at our annual banquet, we had the privilege of hearing from our Romanian National Directors, Chris and Alinda Rusu. They shared about how their hearts were deeply touched by the sacrifice and love of the families who take in orphaned and abandoned children. We heard about children who came from abusive situations and after being a part of a loving family, they are now thriving. We heard about children struggling to forgive parents who had abandoned them and still need healing in their hearts. We heard about youth experiencing the presence of God and making decisions to live wholeheartedly for Jesus. We heard that the need is great – Romania has 56,000 orphaned and abandoned children. We heard that investing in one child is no small thing – it not only changes that one life, but it has the potential to change generations upon generations!
